2018 is going to be a wonderful year for Bollywood as there are a few debutants who are ready to rock the film industry.
While everyone is waiting for the Bollywood debuts of star kids like Sri Devi’s daughter Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan’s daughter Sara Ali Khan, Karan Johar might be getting ready to launch yet another beauty into the Hindi film industry.
If the reports are to be true, the filmmaker-cum-producer Karan Johar is reportedly set to launch latest sensation and Miss World 2017 Manushi Chhillar in ‘Student Of The Year 2’. The sources also said if all goes well, Manushi might be KJo’s second heroine in the movie.
Sources say that KJo is taken by the young girl’s beauty and confidence. He is aware of her popularity as she won the title after 17 long years and buzz around her hasn’t died ever since.
The reports also say that KJo might cast Manushi opposite Tiger Shroff starrer. Karan, who has met Manushi at the Miss India event and then later at Filmfare Glamour and Style Awards 2017 has been all praises for the beauty and he wants to tap into her popularity.
There is another name doing rounds regarding the heroine and she is Ananya Pandey, daughter of Chunky Pandey. While there is no doubt that Manushi has a glamorous persona which can take her places in the world of entertain, fashion, and style, she is currently busy taking her Project Shakti to newer highs.
However, in a recent media interaction, Karan Johar said, “There is no truth to the news yet. We are very proud of Manushi’s achievements. I was hosting the show the year she won, so I have met her before and I did see potential in her. I look forward to meeting her… I haven’t met her yet after she won the crown for India. But there has been nothing discussed yet,” reports IANS.
Karan Johar, who is all set to star in Welcome To New York, received the best author award in the category of Popular Choice award for biographies for his book An Unsuitable Boy, which reveals everything about his personal and professional life. KJo’s upcoming productions include Drive and Raazi while he also has Kesari and Brahmastra in the pipeline.
