Recently there were many rumors about Akash Ambani getting married to Shloka Mehta who was his school classmate. Later on, their wedding card costing 1.5lakh also appeared on various social media handles but later declared to be a hoax. But if this wedding is confirmed it’ll be one of the biggest weddings of the year involving two influential families.

Akash is the son of Mukesh and Nita Ambani while Shloka is the daughter of diamantaire, Russel Mehta. Recently a source close to both the families spilled the beans saying that,

“Shloka is a very charming girl, extremely cultured and it’s difficult to say which of the two families is lucky with this upcoming marriage.”

Another source revealed that,

“No dates of either the wedding or engagement of Akash Ambani have been finalized. As and when any good news is to be shared, the family will be delighted to share with everyone.” The source further added, “Importantly and to reaffirm that as and when any wedding is finalized, it will only be in India.”

Nita has recently commented on the wedding gossip saying that,

“Mukesh and I as parents have given our children the freedom to choose their life partners. When my son decides to get married, to whoever it is, we are going to welcome him and wish him all the happiness in the world.”

For those who don’t know who Shloka is, She is the daughter of Russell Mehta who is a managing director of a Belgian Indian company called Rosy blue which deals in diamonds. She has completed her graduation in Anthropology at Princeton University and further got a Masters in law at the London School of Economics and Political Science.

She has her own startup called ConnectFor, which connects volunteers to NGO’s. She is also a director in Rosy blue, her family company but he says that she is more interested in philanthropy than in business.

Coming to Akash Ambani, he is a chief strategist at Jio and Akash graduated from Brown University and has a major in economics. Isha and Akash are actively participating in the business. Akash Ambani and shloka Mehta study together at Dhirubhai Ambani International School.

Shloka then flew to Princeton for her further studies. As per the report, their engagement will take place on 24th March 2018 and this big fat Indian wedding will be in the month of December. Well, Let’s congratulate the couple for their future together.
