No Actress Is Ready To Work With This Bollywood Star For This Reason
Sooraj Pancholi, an actor effectively launched by Salman Khan, his career started in 2015 with Love-Action thriller ‘Hero’. Though the movie didn’t do well at the box office, it is that melodious song and Salman’s support that made it firm all the way.
Despite the negative feedback the movie garnered, lead actor Sooraj bagged a Filmfare award for debutant actor. Athiya Shetty, daughter of Sunil Shetty made her debut in Bollywood with this movie.
We all know the common Bollywood formula by which the movie succeeds with merely existing nor so storyline. But, despite having the edgeless story there’s another reason behind the failure of ‘Hero’, and that is the actor’s reputation.
Just before the releasing of this movie, Sooraj Pancholi was involved in the suicide of his ex-girlfriend Jiah Khan, she is well known for her debut in Aamir Khan’s much acclaimed ‘Ghajini’.
Her suicide alarmed the career of Sooraj, as her suicide note claimed that he is the reason behind her death. The story went viral on social media and professional media roping in huge criticism to the actor. The same resulted in people avoiding the ‘hero’ movie.
The actor didn’t run out of his negative image till now. And this states that there’s no surprise to believe that no actress is willing to work with him. Now the hero actor is gearing for his second and third movie. He has signed Faruq Kabir’s next movie followed by the next with director Prabhu Deva.
In the midst of every actor turning him down rolling one or another reason, a source from Bollywood was quoted saying, “A lot of actresses have been approached for Faruq’s film, but they turned it down, citing one reason or the other. The hunt for the actress is still on. Let’s see who agrees to come on board.”
Now, it’s been 3 years for ‘Hero’. No movie of Sooraj is on the table now, there is no idea regarding the cast, various stories of rejections are circulating on social media platforms.
