Indian Cinema saw its biggest blockbuster in the face of SS Rajamouli’s “Baahubali” franchise. And the rest became history. The franchise has now become one of the benchmarks for every filmmaker in the Indian Film Industry. The film showed that the Indian cinema is no less than Hollywood or International film.

Baahubali: The Beginning has completed two successful years on July 10, 2017. And the lead actor Prabhas shared a heartfelt post on Facebook. Needless to say ‘Baahubali: The Beginning’ was the turning point of Southern Star Prabhas’ acting career.

Prabhas played the double role of Amarendra Baahubali and Mahendra Baahubali aka Sivudu in the movie. The film witnessed a mammoth success and the lead actor Prabhas became a nation’s heartthrob in no time.

He gained immense popularity for his roles in the film. The actor, who invested almost five years for the two part of Baahubali franchise got nostalgic, as the first part of the film clocked two years. On Monday, July 10, he took to his social media platform and posted a heartfelt message and thanked his fans for making the film a huge hit.

Prabhas Heartfelt Message:

He wrote: “Today marks the completion of two years to the release of a very special film of mine, Baahubali: The Beginning. I feel a deep sense of nostalgia and I have been reminiscing the early days when the entire team was working on this film with so much passion. I want to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to all my fans who don’t leave any chance to make me feel so loved and special. Congratulations to the entire Baahubali team for this day, especially the man behind all of it, SS Rajamouli. We owe it all to you.”

He also said that he owes the success of the film to SS Rajamouli, the director of the film.

Released on 10 July 2015, Baahubali: The Beginning turned out to be the highest-grossing film of the year. It acquired great success at the Box Office with a collection of  Rs 650 crore worldwide (approx). In India alone, the film did a business of Rs 518 crore including all languages. With this, the film has become the highest-grossing movie in India.

‘Baahubali’ franchise has set the bar really high and the audience has loved every bit of it. Apart from Prabhas, the film had an impressive star cast with the likes Anushka Shetty, Rana Daggubati, Ramya Krishnan, Tamannaah, Sathyaraj, Nassar to name a few.
