The Priya Prakash Varrier Effect, Katrina Kaif Gets Brutally Trolled For This Reason
Well, it’s almost impossible that if you’ve been scanning through her social media feeds you haven’t come across this tiny clip from the newly-released song Manikya Malaraya Poovi from the upcoming Malayalam film Oru Adaar Love. The video has gone viral in no time and it definitely takes you to 90s when romance didn’t need any touch or kisses.
A glance is all it took for this pretty girl to take the internet by storm. They do say that nothing really beats the adorable and cute quotient of high-school romance. Those teenage girls make it through the trails and problems of life even after years and we say awww, isn’t it?
After watching the girl in the video, everyone liked her expressions and they went crazy about her on social media. It wouldn’t be wrong to say that she’s the new crush of boys; forget Smriti Mandhana or Disha Patani, this girl is the latest internet sensation.
Since the past couple of days, the 18-year-old from Thrissur in Kerala has captured most space amongst the netizens, be it Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or any other social media website.
While several memes from politics to entertainment involving the ‘wink girl’ have already flooded the internet, now involving Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif.
Katrina has found herself unwittingly sucked into the eddy after she was invoked in a tweet comparing her unfavorably to the younger actress. The number of people who clearly seem to agree with the (male) user who posted the tweet, several responses in the comments thread has denounced him for his random targeting of Katrina, on whose behalf Twitter has mounted a spirited defense.
Twitter Reactions:
Priya Prakash Varrier gave all types of expression in that two minutes what Katrina kaif couldn’t give in her entire Bollywood career.

Lagta hai ek actress ke bare me kuch zyada hi sochta hai
This is very rude of you bhai #Katrinakaif has given everything to the industry and you are saying thisAchi tarah se phele uski movies dekh le
She is nominated twice for filmfare— Harry mittal (@Harrymittal4) February 12, 2018
Oh come on. No relevancy is there in the comparison b/w these two. One is just a newcomer & other has the experience of more than 15 years in this Industry..

I bet she can… thatz the point… we need to move away from the criteria of flat abs and sexy figure for an actress and think about acting as the primary skill for an actress !

Why is it important to acknowledge one person for some reasom at the cost of being demeaning to others? The comparison is unnecessary. Cut the woman some slack. 🤦🏻♀️

Gross generalization. Humour should be refreshing, not degrading.

I think the comparison is unnecessary
