Since the time of Baahubali – The Conclusion released, there have been many rumors about everything in the film from the casting of the movie to the salaries of the stars. The media have been talking whatever they want and writing false news about the film without knowing the truth.

We all know that there have been rumors stating that Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan was the first choice for the role of Baahubali and John Abraham for the role of Bhallaldeva. According to a national daily, it has reported that the filmmakers approached Bollywood hero Hrithik Roshan initially as he rejected the offer because he was busy shooting Mohenjo Daro.

Recently, Zoom TV also stated that Hrithik Roshan was the 1st choice for Amarendra Baahubali’s role while John Abraham was the 1st choice for Bhallaldeva’s role. Zoom TV had even tweeted the same, but after getting a fitting reply from Baahubali star Rana Daggubati, they deleted the tweet.

Rajamouli has already revealed that Baahubali role is designed for Prabhas only. He revealed that all the characters were designed first and the actors were chosen later, but only Baahubali character was designed keeping Prabhas in mind.

And again the rumor continues spreading in the same way. Rana Daggubati was upset with this news and responded on the false report. Rana Daggubati cleared the air about the false reports of the role of Baahubali character. Rana’s quote retweeted them and stated that the reports are false. He said that this is a baseless news and Prabhas is the first choice for Baahubali and there was no alternative to his character. Later I got on board for the role of Bhallaladeva.

Later, he was in a mood to joke and hence, posted one more tweet, thereby making fun of the channel. He said,

According to the reports, Baahubali was initially planned in Telugu. As the budget is crossing the market range of Telugu, the filmmakers thought of releasing in Hindi later. In such a case, why would Rajamouli plan to take Hrithik Roshan? This is indeed a baseless news.

So, now it’s clear that Prabhas and Rana Daggubati were the original choices to play Baahubali and Bhallaladeva respectively in the Baahubali franchise.
