Shanaya Kapoor Enters Bollywood As An Assistant Director
Bollywood has opened its gate to one more Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor the Daughter of Maheep Kapoor and Sanjay Kapoor. Unlike her cousins, she will not enter Bollywood as an actor, but instead she got hired as an assistant director in an upcoming movie that will be shot in Lucknow. Her parents, Sanjay Kapoor and Maheep Kapoor did not reveal any information regarding the project, but they wished their daughter good luck.
In a post on Instagram Sanjay Kapoor said “All the best Shanaya #newbeginnings #newjourney,” and Maheep posted a picture in Instagram and said “My baby’s gone to Lucknow for two weeks #MissYouAlready #AssistantDirectorsLife #LoveYou #ProudMama.”
Amrita Arora, Navya Naveli Nanda, Malaika Arora, and Delnaaz Irani congratulated Shanaya by commenting on the photos that were posted.
Shanaya Kapoor is the eldest among the 2 children of Maheep Kapoor and Sanjay Kapoor. Jahaan Kapoor her brother is still 13-years-old. In a couple of interviews, Sanjay Kapoor did say that his daughter is trying to make an intro in Bollywood but never revealed what she actually wanted to do.
The daughter of Shah Rukh Khan who is Suhana and the daughter of Chunky Panday who is Ananya are among her best-friends. Ananya will debut in the movie “Student Of the Year 2” which is set to be released in the coming months, Suhana wants to be an actor in the movie industry.
Sonam Kapoor, the cousin of Shanaya also went through the same process as Shanaya, Sonam was an assistant director in a movie that was Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali which was named “Black”. Sonam debuted as an actor in the movie “Saawariya” which was directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali in 2007. Arjun Kapoor was also an assistant director in “Salaam-e-Ishq” and “Kal Ho Naa Ho” before debuting in the movie industry in 2012 in a movie name “Ishaqzaade”
