Subedar Joginder Singh is a 2018 Punjabi war film, based on the life of Joginder Singh produced by Saga Music and released today i.e on April 6, 2018. The film stars Gippy Grewal and Aditi Sharma and is been directed by Simerjit Singh who belongs to the same region of Moga where Subedar was born. This film is ought to be the brainchild of its writer and Art Director Rashid Rangrez who earlier proved his mettle with the creations like Super Singh, Angrej and lots more. This movie is going to be a high budget film as the dialogues and picturization are anticipated to be authentic to that in the era of 1962.

The first schedule of the movie was shot in Suratgarh or Rajasthan which is nearly 100 km from the Indo-Pakistan border, to give a look of the pre-independence village of Punjab. Although the star cast including the newcomers have carried out their part well on screen, somewhere it has missed something in it.
