Sridevi and Boney Kapoor were one of the power couples Bollywood industry blissful married life of more than two decades. They were ultimately separated by Sridevi’s untimely demise with left Boney Kapoor in a huge shock. There is another side to the story where Sridevi snatched boney Kapoor from his first wife Mona Kapoor and her children Arjun and Anshula Kapoor.

Sridevi is a friend of Mona Kapoor and used to stay along with Boney and Mona in their home. Sridevi was allegedly dating Mithun Chakraborty at that time and considered Boney as her brother as Mithun Chakraborty had forced her to her to tie a rakhi to him. During her stay at Mona Kapoor’s house, she got pregnant with Boney’s child.

This came as a shock to Mona Kapoor as who considered Sridevi as a friend but she wrecked her 13year old happy marriage with Boney Kapoor. Mona Kapoor had no other choice than to leave Boney Kapoor as she was already pregnant with his child. As soon as Mona left him, Boney Kapoor married Sridevi in a simple Temple wedding in 1996.

“He (Boney) was 10 years older to me. I was 19 when I married him. So I literally grew up with him. Ours was a 13-year-old marriage. So it came as a shock when I realized that my husband was in love with somebody else… There was nothing left in the relationship to give it a chance because Sridevi was already with a child.”

In the 90’s most of the newspapers published that Sridevi was a homewrecker, which made her even more insecure as Mona Kapoor was Boney Kapoor’s legally wedded wife. She was not happy with the thought that she was a mistress to Boney Kapoor.

Once, Boney Kapoor took Arjun and Anshula to a picnic and after knowing the incident Sridevi started abusing him. Sridevi asked Boney Kapoor to break all the ties from Mona Kapoor along with Arjun Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor, Which is the sole reason for Arjun hatred on Sridevi. Neighbors state that,

“You b-, you @!#*!#!. How can you do this to me? If you love your kids and wife so much then why don’t you shift back into that house again? You cheat, you liar…”

They further stated that,

“She should understand that Boney is quite attached to his kids and that there is nothing wrong if he meets them or takes them out for a picnic. After all, he is their father”.

Even after all of this Arjun and Anshula supported Janhvi and Khushi during their mother’s demise.
