This Is The Reason Behind Rajamouli’s Visit To Pakistan!

S.S Rajamouli is no new name in the Indian film industry after directing his magnum opus Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali: The conclusion. Rajamouli predominantly works in the Telugu film industry and is one of the strict and dedicated directors. No wonder Baahubali became the highest grossing film in the Indian Film history.

The actors starred in the movie are receiving various offers from the Bollywood industry too. Rajamouli was honored as Padma Shri for his contributions in the field of art. Recently Rajamouli was invited to Pakistan and he felt very happy about the same.He took it to Twitter to express his happiness and posted that

“Baahubali has given me opportunities to travel to a number of countries… The most exciting of them all is now, Pakistan. Thank you Pakistan international film festival, Karachi for the invite.”

Rajamouli is all excited that his film is going to premiere at Pakistan International film festival which is in Karachi. But the irony is that Pakistan actually banned Baahubali’s release in the country and they are inviting Rajamouli for a special premiere at their International film festival. The film festival will start on 29th March 2018 and ends on 1st April 2018.

Other Indian films which got an opportunity to premiere in Pakistan International film festival are “Dear Zindagi”, “Ankhon Dekhi”, “Hindi Medium”, “Kadvi Hawa”, “Nil Battey Sannata”, “Songs Of The Scorpions” and Marathi movie “Sairat”.

Baahubali was premiered at various film festivals like Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival, British Film Institute and was also nominated for Saturn Award for Best Fantasy Film along with three other nominations by the American Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Films. He received Telstra People’s Choice Award at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne for his movie Baahubali 2: The Conclusion.

Baahubali is a story of love, jealousy, hatred, and vengeance between two brothers of an ancient kingdom. Prabhas and Rana Daggubatti played the role of protagonist and antagonist in the movie while Anushka, Tamannaah played the love interest of Prabhas. Ramya Krishna, Nassar, and Satya Raj also played an important role in the film.

Rajamouli has directed some of the best movies in the Telugu Industry like Eega, Vikramarkudu, Sye, Chatrapathi, Yamadonga, Magadheera. He is one such director who never faced a failure when it comes to Box office collections. Rajamouli made his debut with the movie “Student No.1” starring NTR. He is currently working on his multi-starrer project with Ram Charan and NTR. Let’s wish him good luck for the same.
