Manisha Chhillar, the 20-Year-Old Haryanvi sensation has taken the mainstream media by storm by winning the prestigious and pivotal title all the way. She has become the center of the spotlight within a fortnight. She undeniably is the topic of discussion in the whole country. She became the sixth woman from India.

From a regular college student to getting crowned Miss World, Manushi Chhillar’s journey is a dream for many Indian girls. The 20-year-old, who was studying to become a doctor, is a world-famous personality today. The victory came after a long gap of 17 years, and what made it sweeter still was the attitude and personality of Manushi.

Many don’t know that Manushi Chhiallr has one thing in common with the first Indian to win the Miss World title, Reita Faria, they are both associated with the medical profession. Manushi opened up about her life till now and her future plans during an interview with India Today.

When Rajdeep asked how she felt the moment her name was announced as the victor, Manushi said, “It’s a different feeling when you are known through your country. When I was selected for the Top 5, that’s when I realized that I’m actually in the competition. Somehow, I managed to go through it. When the final announcement was being made, everybody was chanting India, India–even the Chinese. And all I wanted was to listen to Julia Morley making the announcement!”

Manushi then revealed her favorite picks in some categories in a typical rapid-fire with Rajdeep. He asked about her Favorite. She revealed that her favorite cricketer is Virat Kohli and actress is Priyanka Chopra.

Following this, she also said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is her favorite politician. “My favorite politician will always be the Prime Minister of India, no matter who holds the office. The country always comes first,” said Manushi.

After a while to this interview, in another, she talked exclusively about Modi, Manushi added that she was embarrassed after meeting him! Yes, it’s true. Present at Filmfare red carpet, she spoke about her meeting with PM Modi and her embarrassing incident too.
