The much-awaited trailer of Dulquer Salmaan and Sai Pallavi’s upcoming Malayalam movie “Kali” was released on Tuesday, March 15, on the YouTube. The 1-minute-14-second trailer featuring angry Dulquer and dazzling Sai Pallavi looks promising. The trailer reflects pretty much the name of the film ‘Kali’ – a slang in Malayalam for anger. The film is directed by Sameer Thahir.

The trailer sees Dulquer Salmaan play Siddarth, a man always on the verge of losing his temper. We hear Sai Pallavi say in the trailer, “Mukkinte thumbathu aanu deshyam.” The phrase refers to someone always ready to erupt with anger.  Siddharth’s life, from his teenage days to adulthood, is narrated in the movie. He falls in love with Anjali (Sai Pallavi) during their college days and the couple get married.

“Kali,” which marks the reunion of Sameer and Dulquer after the 2013 road movie “Neelakasham Pachakkadal Chuvanna Bhoomi,” is one of the most anticipated Malayalam movies of the year. The movie is the second project of Sai Pallavi, who rose to fame as Malar miss in “Premam.” The cast of Kali also includes Sunny Wayne, Chemban Vinod Jose, Vinayakan and Soubin Shahir. The film is scheduled to release on March 26.
