On the special occasion of Bala Krishna celebrating his 56^th Birthday on June 10^th, 2016, the filmmakers had unveiled the first look poster of Gauthami Putra Satakarni. Bala Krishna is playing the historical title character Satakarni, who is 23^rd king in Satavahana dynasty.

Attempting to meet the expectations, Krish has shot a war episode in Morocco by roping on Hollywood fighters. As it is the milestone movie for Bala Krishna, Director Krish is taking special interest and is trying to reach the expectations of the fans.
