After a superb real life episode Airlift, Akshay Kumar is coming with a sensational crime thriller ‘Rustom’ which is also inspired by true incidents. The makers also released two posters earlier and has come with another motion poster. Rustom has its roots dipped in the real life Nanavati murder case that happened in the late 50s.

Akshay Kumar  is all set to impress everyone as a decorated officer and a complete family man while Ilena D’cruz plays his wife. He is playing an intriguing naval commander in the film.

The movie is loaded with a lot of drama and mystery that will be gripping. The film is directed by Neeraj Pandey and is inspired by the Nanavati murder case which rocked the nation in the late 50s.

In the year 1959, a naval Commander Kawas Maneckshaw Nanavati killed his wife’s fan in cold blood and later confessed to his offense. It seems that Akshay Kumar plays with the ‘honorable killer’ in the show.
