Story:

Saraswati (Mawra Hocane) is a typical ‘Ugly Betty’ from a conservative South Indian family, who is dejected after facing countless marital rejections, which is hampering the matrimonial plans of her younger sister.

When Inder (Harshvardhan Rane), the resident bad boy with a dark past, falls for her, he decides to help her get hitched to other guy as per her wishes instead of confessing his feelings for her.

Inder and Saru stay in the same building but things go haywire when the latter’s father finds out about their meeting. This brings the two closer to each other in ways the duo could have never imagined.

Sanam Teri Kasam is a musical joy ride which gives us a glimpse into one of the most soothing compositions by our very own, Himesh Reshammiya. Harshvardhan Rane, who has already made a name for himself in Telugu cinema and Mawra Hocaine, a natural, show stopper from Pakistani cinema, get together in the film. They look smashing as a pair.

Mawra and Harshvardhan’s chemistry is what saves the day. They look good together and can certainly act. The music is also good, but there is nothing to boast about the story. The melodrama quotient is way too high and after a point of time, one gets tired of seeing every character weep buckets.
