Megastar Chiranjeevi younger daughter Srija, married her childhood sweetheart, NRI businessman Kalyan, at her father’s farmhouse on 28th March in Bengaluru. Chiranjeevi reportedly went all out to make sure all the wedding festivities were according to his daughter’s liking.
The Mega family decided to celebrate the marriage for five days as we have seen in Allu Arjun’s Varadu movie. The wedding celebrations started from March 23rd followed by bride making function, Mehandi, Sangeeth.

As is known, Srija was married to Sirish Bharadwaj in 2007, at the age of 19. The couple have a daughter. In 2011, she came out alleging that she is being harassed by her in-laws for dowry. She was helped by her parents and finally got divorce from Sirish Bhardwaj and the court ordered that the daughter stays with the mother.
It took much convincing on her parents’ part to marry again and she agreed to marry her schoolmate Kalyan. Kalyan’s family is known to Srija’s family.
With his daughter’s wedding over, Chiranjeevi was a relieved man on Tuesday. “Now, I am more relieved and can concentrate on my film,” Chiru apparently told all of his friends.
