A poor motorist in the Isle of Wight crashed his vehicle into a post after spotting a spider crawling inside his vehicle.

Well, I would’ve panicked, screamed, and probably done the same thing.

According to reports, the man was driving on Kite Hill, Wootton, in the north of the island on Monday when he saw the spider.

In a post that was made on Facebook, the Isle of Wight Police said:

Our ARV/colleagues have had a busy afternoon. They currently are dealing with this vehicle on Kite Hill in Wootton so please bear this in mind when you are passing through this way as the traffic might be slightly slower moving until this vehicle is recovered. This driver was trying to remove a spider from his vehicle at the time of this incident. We are glad to say the driver only has minor injuries from this incident but as always please keep your eyes on the road as there are lots of distractions around at this time of year.

In his attempts to remove the spider, he ended up taking his eyes off the road and smashed his vehicle into a post.

Luckily, he managed to get out of the crash with minor injuries.
