Anushka Sharma’s now joined an elite league of celebrities trending on the social media because of their foot-in-the-mouth disease. We are told that the Bombay Velvet actor couldn’t get the spelling of late Indian president Dr APJ Abdul Kalam right on Twitter on Monday. On Tuesday Anushka Sharma’s got the spelling of former president A.P.J. Abdul Kalam wrong while expressing condolences on his demise.
Kalam died on Monday after suffering cardiac arrest while delivering a lecture at a management school in Shillong. Anushka Sharma spelt Kalam’s name incorrectly with a post on micro-blogging site Twitter that read: “Very sad to hear about the passing of ABJ Kalam Azad. Loss of an inspiring visionary and a wonderful soul. May his soul RIP.”
She immediately realised her mistake but it was too late as Twitteratis started trolling her on the social network. She deleted her tweet and then wrote, “Very sad to hear about the passing of APJ Kalam Azad. Loss of an inspiring visionary and a wonderful soul. May his soul RIP.” Despite her attempt, she again made a mistake in the name.
