Bar Exam 2015 was successfully conducted in the month of November at the University of Santo Tomas in Manila. About 6,600 aspiring lawyers competed for their exams. Aspirants who had written the examination are eagerly waiting for the results since then. Supreme Court (SC) declared Bar Exam results today. A total of 1,731 or 26 percent of aspiring lawyers passed the bar examinations last year.Rachel Angeli Miranda, a graduate from the University of Philippines college of Law has managed to be at the top of the list with an average percentage of 87.4. A bar examination is a test intended to determine whether a candidate is qualified to practice law in a given jurisdiction. the Brazilian Bar association administers a bar examination nationwide two to three times a year (usually in January, March, and September). The exam is divided into two stages – the first consists of 80 multiple choice questions covering all disciplines. The candidate must score at least 40 questions correctly to proceed to the second part of the exam, four essay questions and a drafting project (motion, opinion or claim document) in Civil Law, Labour Law, Criminal Law, Administrative Law, Constitutional Law or Tax Law, and their respective procedures. The Bar examination can be taken on the graduation year. Success in the examination allows one to practice in any court or jurisdiction of the country.

The passing rate of 26. 21 percent was the sixth highest since 2001 when 32.89 of exam takers made the cut. Athena Plaza, a graduate of the University of San Carlos is the second topper with 87.25 % average followed by Jayson Aguilar from the University of the Philippines with an 86.75 average.
