In a shocking incident, a 17-year-old girl from Delhi was allegedly gang-raped by 11 men for over 24 hours at Jaipur’s Indraprastha hotel. The girl escape from the Jaipur hotel and she came back to Delhi within 24 hours after which she registered a complaint in the Delhi police Station and police arrested six people and the girl has also said that the hotel staff was also involved in the crime. The police are investigating the case and further details are awaited.

According to the police reports, the girl needs a job urgently and she had approached the couple Rocky and Rani, living in her neighbourhood. The couple claimed to have given jobs to several women in Delhi-NCR and nearby cities.

Hotel Staff told to NDTV that the girl had checked in with a man on August 29. The staff said, on August 31, the man checked out alone.

Rocky and Rina were arrested, police said, adding that they confessed to taking the girl to Jaipur to sell her off. Later a team was sent to Jaipur and the others were arrested, said a police official

The girl’s father works as a vegetable vendor and he drink alcohol. The girl was in a need of job to meet the daily needs of the family, said a police official.

The Delhi police are now trying to conform and identities of 6 more persons who had allegedly raped the 17- years – old girl.
