Food Corporation of India (FCI) successfully conducted written examination for the recruitment of Junior Engineer (JE) (Civil Engineering/ Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering), Assistant Grade III, Typist and Assistant Grade II examination in the month of November 2015. The results of the same were also declared. Candidates who had qualified in the written examination appeared for the document verification in the month of December/ January 2016. FCI Category III Final Result 2015:

Food Corporation of India was set up on 14 January 1965 having its first District Office at Thanjavur – rice bowl of Tamil Nadu. The Food Corporations Act 1964 with the main objective of deciding effective price support operations for safeguarding the interests of the farmers, Distribution of foodgrains throughout the country for Public Distribution System, Maintaining satisfactory level of operational and buffer stocks of foodgrains to ensure National Food Security, Regulate market price to provide foodgrains to consumers at a reliable price.
