How KCET 2016 Ranking is Done?

In order to estimate the ranks by the scores, candidates should firstly know about the ranking system.

The ranking for KCET 2016 exams is based on the marks scored in the qualifying exam i.e. PUC/Class 12 and the marks scored in the CET. Students who opt for Engineering courses should have taken Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics combination in their PUC/Class 12.

How to Calculate KCET Ranks Based on Marks?

• Firstly, for the calculation of rank 50% of the marks obtained in the common entrance exam and 50% of the marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are taken. The rank is arrived at.
• If the marks obtained by two students are the same then to break the tie marks obtained in CET in Mathematics is taken into consideration.
