Kult Enters Indian Smartphone Market With 4G Enabled ‘Kult 10’ at Rs. 7999 – Now Available on Snapdeal

Several smartphone brands have been emerging with numerous smartphone models striving to attract the customers with spectacular design and high-end specifications. Kult, a new telecom brand entered the Indian smartphone market with a 4G enabled smartphone. The new age telecom brand has partnered with Wistron (an Original Devie Manufacturer) on Tuesday to launch its first smartphone in India called Kult 10.

The new smartphone brand has launched Kult 10 with pretty good hardware alongside some interesting features so as to knock in the budget 4G range and rival other existing popular smartphone brands. The company has unveiled its first smartphone on Tuesday and is exclusively available on the giant E-commerce portal Snapdeal. The latest smartphone under the Kult brand looks pretty much minimalist in terms of design with just the power and volume controls protruding out on the left side of the handset.

Kult 10 Specifications and Price

The smartphone is priced at an affordable price range of Rs. 7999 which is initially launched in India and is exclusively available on Snapdeal. One of the highlights of this new Kult 10 smartphone is that it supports 4G LTE connectivity along with dual-SIM support. The Kult 10 smartphone features a 5-inch HD IPS display with a pixel resolution 0f 720 x 1280 pixels with a layer of Asahi’s Dragontrail glass that protects the smartphone from getting damaged. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s 64-bit capable quad-core SoC coupled with 3GB of RAM. It has not mentioned the chipset of the processor. On the storage front, the smartphone includes an internal memory of 16GB which can be further expanded up to 128GB of additional storage using a microSD card.

On the Camera front, the device comes equipped with a 13-megapixel rear-camera with pretty good features like anti-shake, face detection, manual focus, exposure controls, smile and gesture capture features. On the other side, the device comes with a 5-megapixel front facing snapper. The Kult 10 smartphone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system out of the box. The company claims that the smartphone is upgradeable to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. However, it has not mentioned a specific timeline. The handset is power-packed by a 2350mAh battery that comes with fast charging support.

The new Kult 10 is a dual-SIM that provides slots for both Micro-SIM and Nano-SIM cards. On the Connectivity front, the smartphone supports 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, and other usual connectivity features. The handset is exclusively available for sale on e-commerce website Snapdeal at a price point of Rs. 7,999 starting Tuesday.

Speaking at the launch of new Kult 10, Nitesh Gupta, founder of Kult, said, “We are witnessing a tremendous shift in consumer behavior. Focussing on the expanding affordable smartphone market, the newly entered telecom brand, Kult plans to drive a range of other products in the following quarters. As for the after sales service, Kult says it has tied up with more than 500 service centres to offer best services to all its customers.
