Lenovo Vibe K4 Note With VR Headset Launched in India – Will Go on Flash Sale Via Amazon India on January 19

Lenovo, the Chinese smartphone maker has finally launched the much-awaited Vibe K4 Note smartphone in India today putting an end to all the speculations and rumours. Lenovo has unveiled the heavily anticipated Lenovo K4 Note smartphone at an event held in New Delhi today. Priced at Rs. 11,999, the smartphone packs with high-end specifications and amazing features. Earlier in the month of December, the Chinese company has officially posted a teaser of the Lenovo K4 Note on its Twitter account confirming that the device will be launched in India on Jan 5.

As promised earlier, the company today took wraps off its all new Lenovo Vibe K4 Note ahead of the CES trade show 2016. As the device is first launched in India, the company says that its has plans to manufacture more and more handsets in India. Alongside, the company is also offering five different wood designs as well. The company announced that the device will be available for purchase via the giant E-commerce portal Amazon India starting January 19. for which registrations open at 3 PM today.

Lenovo Vibe K4 Note - Specs and Price

It is the first flash sale on Amazon India for which registrations will be opened at 3 PM starting Tuesday, i.e., today. The company also launched a VR virtual reality headset for the Lenovo K4 Note in partnership with ANT VR, which is available for purchase separately priced at Rs. 1, 299. Including the smartphone, the complete package is priced at Rs 12,499. The predecessor of the Lenovo K4 Note, the K3 Note was one of the most successful handsets for the company as the sales of that device crossed 1.2 million in just six months.

Specifications

The Lenovo K4 Note sports a 5.5-inch full-HD IPS display with a pixel resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels along with a pixel density of 401ppi, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The company claims that the device comes with 1000:1 contrast ratio and features like user-controlled colour balance. The handset is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6753 SoC processor which is paired with 3GB of DDR3 RAM. On the Storage front, the smartphone includes an internal storage of 16GB which can be further expanded upto  128GB via microSD card.

Lenovo K4 Note - Registrations Open

The new Lenovo Vibe K4 Note runs Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system with a light-version of the company’s Vibe UI skin on top. It is a dual-SIM smartphone that supports dual 4G connectivity. On the camera front, the device comes equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera with PDAF autofocus, a f/2.2 aperture and dual-tone LED flash. On the other side, the smartphone houses a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

In terms of connectivity, the smartphone supports 4G LTE, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, and FM radio. The device is 9.1-mm thick and weighs 158 grams. The Lenovo Vibe K4 Note is backed by a 3300mAh battery with fast charging capability. The company touts that the device can deliver up 265 hours of 3G standby time and 22 hours of 3G talk time. The device also comes with sensors that include a digital compass, accelerometer, proximity sensor, and ambient light sensor.

The company announced that a premium leather cover along with wood covers would be launched soon. The device also features dual front speakers, alongside Dolby Atmos audio. One of the highlights of the smartphone is its fingerprint scanner, placed below the camera module on the rear panel. The company also claims that the device works on the TheaterMax technology which converts normal content to immersive VR content.
