LIC AAO Review & Analysis/ Cutoff Marks 2016:

LIC AAO online examination has five sections General Awareness, Reasoning, English, Computer Knowledge, Quantitative Aptitude. The overall complexity of the paper is same as that of IBPS PO. In this reasoning, computer knowledge and General Awareness is easy and other sections are moderate to difficult. Following is the sectional wise review & Analysis

Reasoning:

This section is very easy. Aspirants can attempt most of the questions from this section.

Syllogism – 5 Questions
Sitting arrangement all facing north – 5 Questions
Circular arrangement – 5 Questions
Input-output which are complex – 5 Questions
Assertion- assumption reasoning based – 5 Questions
Miscellaneous types – 5 Questions

Computer Awareness:

The Computer Awareness section is very easy.

Software – 4 Questions
Internet – 3 Questions
Networking – 2 Questions
Operating system – 1 Questions
Others – 7 Questions
Memory – 3 Questions
Binary Code – 1 Questions
MS Office – 4 Questions

Aptitude section:

It was tough section and questions were tricky. You can attempt upto 20 questions from this section.
5 questions on statement (comprising Profit loss, speed and distance, mixture and allegation, work and time) were difficult

English section:

The English section is moderate. The questions were asked from Reading Comprehension (Organisation), Cloze Test, Rearrangement, Misspelt, Error Detection section. Aspirants can attempt 16-17 questions in this section

General Awareness:

This section is very easy. Aspirants can answer most of the questions in this questions. The questions were asked from the topics of  Insurance Policies, RBI Acts, IRDA, Currency & Capital, UN, Budget, Venue, Sports, Headquarters, Abbreviations, Awards / Appointment Obituary, Miscellaneous.
