Micromax, one of the leading smartphone makers in India has introduced a new smartphone in its Canvas series called the Canvas Pace 4G. The handset is an entry-level device that packs in the basics with its 4G radios being the highlight. In fact, Canvas Pace 4G is the third smartphone that Micromax has announced this month after the Canvas Xpress 4G and the recently announced Canvas Amaze with 2GB RAM available online.

The newly launched Micromax Canvas Pace 4G is now available to buy via an e-commerce website at Rs. 6,821. The device has also been listed on the company website. Micromax aims at competing other Chinese smartphone makers by launching best budget smartphones into the Indian market. The new Micromax Canvas Pace 4G sports a 5-inch FWVGA display with a calculated pixel density of 195.9ppi and  a pixel resolution of 480 x 854 pixels. The handset is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor which is clocked at 1.1GHz and paired with 1GB RAM and Adreno GPU. On the Storage front, the device has an internal storage of 8 GB which can be further expandable up to 32 GB via a micro SD card.  The handset runs Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system similar to its predecessors in the canvas series.

On the Camera front, the smartphone comes equipped with a 5-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash along with a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.  The device includes regular connectivity options such as a dual SIM setup for 4G and 3G bands and 4G enabled LTE connectivity that is capable of providing download speeds of up to 150Mbps and upload speeds of up to 50Mbps.

The Micromax Canvas Pace 4G is backed by a 2500mAh battery. The company claims that the device is capable of delivering up to 9 hours of talk time and 375 hours of standby time. The handset also includes regular sensors such as an ambient light sensor, gravity sensor, and proximity sensor. The Canvas Pace 4G is available in a single color variant, Black colour variant.
