3 months back Jharkhand Education Minister Neera Yadav was seen paying homage to former president APJ Abdul Kalam by offering floral tributes when he was alive and now a school in Balasore district in Odisha closed down for the day after its headmaster announced that Atal Bihari Vajpayee has ‘passed away’ while he is still alive.

Upon hearing the news, the students and teachers of Budakhunta upgraded primary school in Oupada block of Balasore district held a memorial meeting to mourn former Prime Minister AB Vajpayee’s death.

Headmaster Suspended for false news of Vajpayee’s ‘Death’:

The incident took place on Friday but it came to light on Sunday after a group of locals met district Collector Sanatan Mallik and demanded a removal of the headmaster, Kamalakanta Das, for irresponsibility.

He took an immediate action by suspending the headmaster, Kamalakanta Das and stated that they might also press charges of a criminal proceeding against him.

Kamalakanta Das said he learned about Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s passing away from a fellow teacher while attending a teachers’ training program in another school.
