All the customers in India, Canada, USA, UK, UAE, South Africa, Singapore, Australia and China can now download the instant messaging app, Jio Chat and chat with friends and family across all these above-mentioned countries. Currently, this service from Reliance Jio Chat is available for Android and iOS devices.

Jio Chat instant Messaging chat app has been launched by the Reliance company and the latest move of expanding its messaging app service to other major countries shows that the firm seems to compete with popular apps such as WhatsApp, Line, WeChat and Hike in India.

Reliance Jio Infocomm is a telecom firm of the Mukesh Ambani-led group which has launched an instant messaging app called Jio Chat on 11th April early this year. With this move, the company is trying to make the service relevant for cheaper cross-border communication, the way other messaging apps like Whatsapp, WeChat, Line, Viber and Hike have done. It is also apparently and gradually scaling its ability to handle.
