Swipe Enters Wearable Market, Launches F-Band Fitness Tracking Band in India – Now Available on Snapdeal

Swipe Technologies, the domestic handset and tablet manufacturers has now entered the wearable market by launching a new fitness tracker in India. Swipe Technologies, which is widely known for its affordable handsets has entered the wearable space with the launch of the new F-Band fitness tracker. Priced at an affordable price of Rs. 1,499, Swipe’s new wearable will go up for sale on the giant E-commerce portal, Snapdeal starting January 7.

Swipe F-Band Fitness Tracker Launched in India

Last year, in the month of October, the company has launched a new smartphone under the Elite series called Swipe Elite 2 in India at an affordable price range of Rs. 4666. Now, it has entered the wearables market with the new F-Band fitness trackers which is much like many other fitness trackers.

The Swipe F-Band fitness tracker comes with a display, which makes it look more like a smartwatch rather than a slim fitness band which you may have tried before. Like many other fitness bands, the new F-Band connects to your smartphone via Bluetooth. As it is connected to your smartphone, it feeds your device’s notifications to the wearable fitness band.

In terms of specifications, the F-Band is backed by a 55mAh battery. The company claims that the band can offer up to seven days of battery life on a single charge. The Swipe’s new wearable comes two color variants such as blue and red colour options. The fitness tracker will be available to purchase starting January 7 on the giant e-commerce website Snapdeal.

Despite it is priced at Rs 1,499, the first 100 customers can grab the gadget at Rs 1,299. With the F-Band, Swipe will be racing in the smart band market with other budget players such as Micromax’s Yu, Xiaomi and others. Recently, the Chinese firm, Huawei has launched Honor Band Z1 fitness band in India which is available on Flipkart for Rs 5,499. The fitness band promises three days of battery life and works with iOS and Android.
