Tamil Nadu Board HSC +2 Toppers List Pass Percentage 2016:

Tamil Nadu Board of Secondary Education, established in 1910, is under the purview of the Department of Education, Government of Tamil Nadu, India. Up to and ending at the secondary (class 10) level, the following streams of education are offered: the SSLC (Secondary School Leaving Certificate) stream, the Anglo-Indian stream, the Oriental School Leaving Certificate (OSLC) stream and the Matriculation stream. And for higher secondary (classes 11 and 12) there is single unified stream leading to the award of the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC).

The Tamil Nadu State Board of School Examination evaluates students’ progress by conducting two board examinations-one at the end of class 10 and the other at the end of class 12. The scores from the class 12 board examinations are used by universities to determine eligibility and as a cut-off for admissions into their programmes.

Tamil Nadu TN 12th HSC Toppers List & Pass Percentage 2016 District Wise:

Aarathi V and Jeshwanth K H of Sri Vidya Mandir Matriculation Higher Secondary School in Krishnagiri and Chatriya Kavin D J of Good Shepherd Matriculation Higher Secondary School in Chennai shared the first rank in the Class 12 Tamil Nadu state board exams 2016 with score 1195 out of 1200.

Pavithra G of Shree Niketan Matriculation Higher Secondary School in Tiruvallur and Shruti S Good Shepherd Matriculation Higher Secondary in Chennai are the second rank holders with a score of 1194.

Samritha K of Vimal Jyothi Convent Matriculation Higher Secondary School at Saravanampatty in Coimbatore, Naveen G of Bharathi Vidya Bhavan in Erode and Nivedita N of New Prince Matriculation Higher Secondary School in Kancheepuram shared the third rank with a score of 1193.
