VITEEE Cutoff Marks:

VIT University or VIT, formerly called Vellore Engineering College, is an Indian institute of higher education and a deemed university. VIT is ranked 13 in National Institutional Ranking Framework published by Ministry of Human Resource Development in April 2016. The institution offers 20 undergraduate, 34 postgraduate, four integrated and four research programs. Admission is conducted on a merit basis through an online entrance exam. Admission can be acquired through management quota also. VIT organises its own entrance exam, called the Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE).

Candidates who had completed their Intermediate can appear for the VITEEE. Students interested in joining the VIT need to get the minimum score i.e; the cut-off marks. Students scoring more than cut off marks are qualified to the VITEEE, qualified candidates have gained the eligibility for counseling.

VITEEE Ranks vs Marks:

VIT university offers scholarships for its students based on the merit list. The complete tuition fee for all four years is waived off for state board toppers and CBSE/ ICSE toppers. For VITEEE rank 1 – 50 holders 75% tuition fee waived. For VITEEITEEE 2015E rank 51 – 100 holders 50% tuition fee waived. VITEEE rank 101 – 1000 holders 25% tuition fee waived. 2,02,406 Candidates have registered for 4,200 seats in 15 B.Tech programs offered at VIT Vellore and 5 B.Tech programs offered at VIT Chennai.

Candidates need to score good marks to get top rank. Students with 60-70 marks out of 120 have a fair chance of getting admission. The merit list students will receive the phase I call letters for counselling.
