Yu Yutopia to Launch in India Today – Specifications and Features Revealed!
Micromax’s much-awaited ‘high-end’ Yu Yutopia smartphone which was initially scheduled to launch in India on December 7 has finally set to launch today at an event held in New Delhi. The Indian smartphone manufacturing firm, Micromax has been running an extensive teaser campaign for the device and meanwhile in the process, has also taken a taunt at the tech giant companies such as Apple and OnePlus, boasting that the Yutopia will have excellent features.
The company has been touted the new Yu Yutopia as “the most powerful handset in the world” and a beast. The launch event will commence today at 12 PM and will be streamed on the official website as well. The features and specifications of the Yu Yutopia have been revealed. Features and Specifications
The Yu Yutopia smartphone is expected to sport a screen size of 5.2 inches. The company has also teased a QHD display for the Yutopia. It is also expected that the upcoming handset will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC processor coupled with 4GB RAM. On the storage front, the smartphone is expected to include an internal memory of 32GB. It is not clear if the Yutopia will have a microSD card slot for expanding the memory, although. The smartphone is rumoured to be ‘Made in India’.
On the camera front, the Yu Yutopia is rumoured to come equipped with a 21MP sensor on the rear side and an 8MP sensor up front. The company has teased an “all-metal” build for the Yutopia which will surely give an amazing look for the smartphone and appear more premium. This is for the first time a Yu smartphone will roll an all-metal model. However, the company has not yet revealed the battery capacity of the smartphone.
Earlier, in the month of October, Rahul Sharma, the head of Yu Televentures had sent out a tweet calling Yutopia as ‘the most powerful phone on the planet’. He even drove to the forums to strengthen the hoopla around the upcoming launch. We will have to wait and watch if these speculations are really true.
