In a sensational turn of events, popular Tollywood composer Devi Sri Prasad will be playing the role of a lead actor in an upcoming film, which is set to be directed by Sukumar. It was officially announced by producer Dil Raju at the success meet of Kumari 21F that was held at a theatre in Hyderabad. Sukumar produced Kumari 21F has become a big hit and the movie was distributed by Dil Raju in Nizam area.

Music Composer Devi Sri Prasad to Turn Hero:

Popularly known as DSP, the music composer has been closely associated with Sukumar and according to sources, he has been planning his foray into acting for a long time.

“He has been thinking about his official launch as a hero for a few years now. However, things have taken a long time to materialise, but it is finally happening now under the direction of Sukumar,” said a source in the know.

“Devi Sri Prasad has worked in all projects of Sukumar, starting from Arya to his most recent Kumari 21F. The both of them share a great rapport and are confident of a successful collaboration,” the source added.

Actually this composer was to debut as hero long back with heroine Charmi, but somehow failed. We have to see how Devi Sri Prasad will fare at box office.
