A Chinese farmer was shocked when he came across a two-headed snake slithering in his yard in Hebei, China.

The incident happened in Hebei, a northern province in China, which is located near Beijing.
Shenzhou said he captured the 2-headed snake and placed in a pot so other people and authorities could check the snake out.
When Shenzhou went to call on other farmers, he left the snake alone in the pot, and a kid came and knocked it over, allowing the snake to slither away.
Shenzhou came back with people, but the snake had escaped and was gone.
Luckily, Shenzhou captured a video of the two-headed snake.
The video that was captured by Shenzhou was shared by People’s Daily China on their Twitter page, and it went viral right away.
Unfortunately, two-headed snakes do not really do well in the wild. This is due to their slow speed and because 2 snakes are controlling one body.
Snakes that are born with 2 heads only survive in captivity, where officials and vets feed them properly and allow them to stay away from predators.
