Indonesian fishermen were shocked when they stumbled upon an extremely rare baby albino shark that has only one eye.

Looks like something out of a sci-fi movie!

According to reports, the animal was found inside the belly of an adult shark that died after being caught in nets.

The fishermen were sailing across the Maluku province on October 10, 2020, when they got to witness such a thing.

As the men were cleaning the belly of the adult shark, they were stunned to see a tiny white shark inside.

They discovered the shark when they opened it up to remove the gut.

The fishermen said that the baby albino shark is one of the 3 babies that were present inside the shark.

The shark only had one eye and it was present in the middle of its head.

The fins and other parts of the body were formed when the shark was discovered.

29-year-old Andy, a fisherman, said that the adult shark that they had caught was pregnant.

During an interview with the local press, he said:

We found three babies inside its stomach, but one of them looked strange with only one eye. Its colour was strange too, like milk.

The fisherman reported their unique find to the local marine office.

The dead bodies of the shark, the albino shark, and the 2 babies that were found in the gut of the adult shark, were also handed over to the marine office.

They were all dead when they found them.
