Sad, just sad.

An adorable little puppy was found tied to a bench in a park along with a note that is being deemed as heartbreaking.

The note said that anyone who finds the dog to please “take good care of him”.

The adorable little one was found abandoned in a park in Mexico City, Mexico.

The dog had a note that was from his previous owner claiming that they had no choice but to leave the dog as he was being abused by their relatives.

The note, which is believed to be written by a young one, was really heartbreaking.

It said:

Please, I ask you to adopt this dog and take good care of him. Leaving my dog here hurts a lot, but I made the decision because my relatives abused him and it was painful to see him in that situation. So, if you read this and you feel moved, please adopt him and look after him. If not, please leave the letter here so another person can read it and adopt him. Thanks.

The note also stated that the adorable little puppy is named Max.

Volunteers from Mascotas Coyoacan, an animal charity, visited the park after they were called in.

They went there to rescue Max, who was shaking and nervous around a lot of people.

Eventually, a female volunteer was able to gain his trust, and after some time, the dog was untied from the bench.

The rescuers said that Max is doing pretty well and is now happy to allow other people to pat him.

It looks like the dog just wanted some love.

Max is still a puppy, so they would like to find a new forever home for him.

The dog is now named Boston.

The animal charity said they decided to change the name of the dog so the pooch could start fresh and forget about his cruel past life.
