100-Year-Old Chinese Man Becomes Oldest Patient In The World To Beat The Coronavirus Infection

A 100-year-old man from China has become the oldest living person in the world to have defeated and wiped out the entire coronavirus disease from his body.

The announcement was made by Xinhua, a state media of China, on Sunday.

According to Xinhua, the 100-year-old patient was discharged on Saturday from a hospital in Wuhan, China, which is the epicenter of the coronavirus outbreak.

The report added that the 100-year-old man was admitted to Hubei’s Maternity and Child Health Care hospital on February 24, 2020.

The 100-year-old man reportedly had Alzheimer’s disease, hypertension, and heart problems, when he was confirmed to have the coronavirus.

The man reportedly went through 13 days of therapy, which includes anti-viral medicines, plasma transfusions, and traditional Chinese medicine.

As of writing this article, 110,099 people have been confirmed to have the coronavirus.

3831 people have officially died from the deadly disease.
