The coronavirus in mainland China has claimed over 500 lives and has spread to over 20 countries, which includes India, the UK, Russia, and the Philippines.
The virus in Wuhan is continuing to affect more and more people each day, but a couple in Heze, Shandong, China didn’t let the virus stop their wedding.
The couple held a 10-minute wedding on the morning of January 30, 2020, and invited no relatives or friends.
After the wedding, the groom, who works as a doctor, rushed to the hospital to work immediately.
According to ChinaTimes, the doctor didn’t even have lunch with his newly married wife.
The ultra-short wedding of the couple was attended by a total of 5 people.
The groom Li Zhiqiang, the bride Yu Hongyan, the main wedding couple and the parents of the groom were the only ones at the wedding.
Shortly after the wedding, the groom rushed back to work.
Li works as an obstetrics clinician at the Second Hospital of Shandong University.
Li said the wedding was fixed before the outbreak of the new coronavirus in Wuhan, China.
Instead of delaying the wedding, the couple decided to get married and only invet their parents.
Yu Hongyan, the bride, said she had no problems with her husband rushing back to his work after their short marriage.
Talking about not having a luxury wedding, Yu said the wedding doesn’t need to be done in a luxurious way.
The parents of Yu failed to come to the wedding due to the virus, but she said her parents support her and her husband.
Salute to the doctor for working right away after his wedding and kudos to the wife for not being angry with the husband.
