BMW Gets Swept Into The Sea After Being Left Parked On The Beach

Images that were shared on the internet show a vehicle that got swept into the sea after the owner left it parked on the beach.

A person that saw the incident said that the BMW was abandoned on St. Agnes beach in Cornwall.

After heading down to the strip of beach in the morning, the witness was stunned after seeing that a BMW was pulled in by the massive tide.

Talking about the incident, Esther Chase, a local resident, said that the vehicle was pulled in by the massive waves.

Esther took images of the vehicle.

Talking about how she discovered the car, she said:

I think a family had driven down at 1am. I went down for a swim at 7am and the car was washing around. I think a family had driven down in the night and tried to turn around in the beach but got caught by the incoming tide.

Steve Blundson, the owner of the beach, called the authorities and informed them about the vehicle.

He discovered the car when he was walking his dogs at the beach.

A driver was called to the scene, however, he had to wait for the tide to go back out before he could bring and save the vehicle.

During an interview with BBC, Blundson said:

It’s not the first time this has happened. It’s not a regular occurrence but it does happen once a decade, so it’s a 10-year event.

The owner of the BMW was from Falmouth and turned up a number of hours later with their friends.

The owner of the car, who was not identified, told the owner of the beach that he tried to turn the vehicle around after it became stuck, but it was completely immovable.

No one was injured in the incident and the car has been saved.
