The heartbreaking video of the nurse giving an air hug to her daughter is getting into the nerves of people.

The video was tweeted by Xinhua, a Chinese state media outlet, along with the caption of: “A Chinese nurse in a coronavirus-hit hospital in Henan Province gives her sobbing daughter an ‘air hug.’ #coronavirus.”

In the heart-breaking video, the nurse, whose identity was not shared with the public, can be seen wearing protective clothing and a facemask.

The nurse was standing a couple of meters away from her daughter.

In the video, the daughter could be heard crying and saying, “Mum, I really miss you.”

As a response, the mother said, “Mum misses you too, let me give you a hug.”

When the girl asked if her mother could come home, the nurse said she is currently fighting a monster and will be back after the virus gets defeated.
