After Launching Rs 200 And Rs 50 Notes, Govt Is Planning To Bring Back This Historical Old Note

Right from the inception, Government has been taking some serious measures to fill the note gaps. Everything regarding the new notes has become a trending topic post the demonetization, it was November 8th, 2016 that turned the economic phase of the country.

On the top of all that, after the release of new Rs 500 and Rs 2000 notes, Govt. recently passed a notification stating, “In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 24 of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934, and on the recommendations of the Central Board of Directors of the Reserve Bank of India, the Central Government hereby specifies the denomination of bank notes of the value of two hundred rupees.”

Now, according to the just-in sources, it is believed that the Rs 1000 notes which were demonetized during November of 2016 will be renounced now, in another avatar.

It is believed that the new note will be on the table very soon with enhanced security features in December 2017, the printing presses of RBI at Mysore and Salboni is geared up for designing and printing of the new Rs 1000 note. As the presses are currently engaged for printing of Rs 200 notes, people have to wait for the Rs 1000 note for few more months.

This note will help in narrowing the wide gulf between the Rs 500 and Rs 2000 denominated notes. To cope up the work with Rs 200 notes, the RBI presses have stopped the printing of Rs 2000 note six months back, now the same will happen with Rs 1000 notes.

However, the availability of the Rs 1000 notes in ATMs is still in ambiguity.
