Yoga guru Baba Ramdev is always seen in the news to promote the Indian goods aka Swadeshi goods, but this time, Baba has now become a target of social media trolls for wearing a ‘videshi goods’. Netizens got no chill when it comes to trolling; be it any celebrity or a politician or even the Yoga Guru.
We know the activeness of Baba Ramdev on social media. He is often seen on the social media platforms either promoting his products or his preachings. He recently opened up an account on Instagram as well. In a recent post, the Yoga Guru has uploaded a picture in which he is seen violating his own principle of not wearing videshi goods by wearing a branded shoe.
On receiving wrath from the netizens, the same picture popped up on his Instagram profile, but this time, it is a cropped image. The image was cropped making sure the videshi brand is not visible in the photograph which was uploaded on his Instagram account.
It was the first pic ever by Baba Ramdev on Instagram on March 7th, in which he was seen sitting near the river Ganga. The pic was captioned ‘Maa Ganga ke tat par’. It was quite obvious to guess the reason why the pic was removed and had to be uploaded again.
It was very clearly visible to guess the brand of the shoe Baba Ramdev was wearing as Woodland. The online trolls did not take much of a time to hit back at Baba Ramdev in the comments section. One of the troll profile advised Baba Ramdev, ‘baba ji apke jute abhi bhi dikh rhe hai… crop it proper.’
However, the post with the edited pic was deleted again, and this time permanently. Baba is always notable in his Khaddau chappals and also advised others to use the same ‘Swadeshi products’.
