Final Year MBBS Student Delivered And Saved A Baby On Train With Just Whatsapp Instructions!

Do you remember Aamir Khan’s movie “3 Idiots”? If you were seen, there was a scene in which Aamir and few engineering students helped a woman in delivering her baby and they got help from a qualified doctor by using a webcam.

One such kind of situation happened recently, Vipin Khadse (24), the final year student of MBBS, helped a lady in giving birth to a beautiful baby boy onboard the Ahmedabad-Puri Express. He did so with instructions from his seniors through WhatsApp.

Vipin Khadse, who is in his final stage of MBBS training (and is not a qualified doctor yet) he has performed a very complicated delivery in a very good manner.

On Friday, 24 years old Chitralekha and her husband, both laborers, boarded the train from Ahmedabad as they were going to Raipur, Chhattisgarh, but on the way, Chitralekha started having labor pain.

According to Vipin, the train was about 30km from Nagpur when Chitralekha’s relatives pulled the chain to halt the train near Wardha junction. He told TOI,

THE TICKET COLLECTOR AND GUARD WERE LOOKING FOR A DOCTOR ON THE TRAIN. INITIALLY, I KEPT QUIET PRESUMING THERE COULD BE SOME EXPERIENCED DOCTOR. BUT, WHEN THEY CAME FOR A SECOND ROUND OF INQUIRY, I OFFERED TO HELP.

It was a complicated delivery because when Vipin attended her she was in great pain and was bleeding profusely.

The lad later also took to Facebook to share his experience with all, which has now garnered a lot of love and support.

Vipin wants to become a surgeon in future but he maintains that every doctor should have the knowledge of delivering a baby to help a woman in need.

Kudos to the guy & the doctors who helped the woman in such a crucial time!
