RBI Releases Half-Printed Notes, Netizens Slams Demonetization

Contrary to the troubles people are been facing since the demonetization, the issue got its wings as a few netizens published the photographs of the misprinted 500 and 2000 notes.

Although the Modi government’s decision is applauded for its witty decision on the ban of old 500 and 1000 notes by a majority, he is facing severe criticism from the opposition parties.

Ever after standing for hours in the queue and getting the newly printed notes the verdict left them disappointed after looking at the improperly printed notes.

Somewhere in the countryside, people are even unaware of the exchange process, somewhere at the city centers, people are not getting their money through ATMs because of constant drying up of ATMs. Then here comes the new victims who ended up getting misprinted money.

The victims have been taking the photographs of misprinted currency denominations to the social media that clearly look like a job half done. People started claiming that the government was in a rush to get the notes out in the market and did not even bother to get in printed properly.

Soon after the photographs were posted the posts were flooded with comments.

His comments when roughly translated states “This is a great example of the ‘well-planned demonetisation’. This is a new Rs 500 currency note that Manoj has withdrawn from an ATM. Half of the note has not been printed on yet. Where is the ‘well-planned demonetisation’ here? I say, there is. Had there been no thorough planning, the ATMs would have given notes with nothing printed on them. At least these are half-printed. This is absolute planning — through and through.”

On the other hand a lot of people dismissed these posts as merely rumours to criticize the PM’s image and his effort to curb black money hoarding and corruption in the country. One of the users even gave a detailed explanation as to why this could be someone’s effort to show the demonetization drive in a bad light.
