Farah Khan’s Husband Shirish Kumar Apologizes To Yogi Adityanath After Calling Him ‘Goon’, FIR Lodged

It is well believed that BJP’s Yogi Adityanath becoming the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh will be a landmark decision in UP’s political history. Since a couple of days, Yogi has been actively participating in working over major reforms in the states’ regards. It might be banning pan masalas and tees in schools, despite his sensational steps, there are people who are transparently condemning the activities of Yogi.

Many of them were, however, cornering the CM concerned towards the communal statements made by him earlier in the political rallies and various occasions. The outcry on the Twitter after the victory of BJP is well noticed, especially when Yogi was declared as the 21st Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh.

The netizens are quite actively participating in insulting the Yogi for his lenience towards Saffronism, putting common people aside, no celebrities ever tried to open up regarding the elections.

However, surprising everyone, the popular Bollywood director Farah Khan’s husband Shirish Kunder took a step againsty Yogi, trolling him on the Internet. (later, deleted the tweet)

But, what happened next is well known to everyone, the response was absurd. An FIR was lodged against Shirish in Uttar Pradesh’s Hazratganj’s Police Station.

Soon after knowing this, Shirish took on to his Twitter handle and quoted an apology to those who were offended.

Generalising the issue, it must be learned that, the way in which the freedom of expression is ‘taken care of’ should be proper. One can rightfully share their opinion on social media or infront of the camera, but what matters the most is the way he/she expresses it. There is a fine line between expression and insult, that must be handled carefully.

Ironically, earlier, there were many occasions where earlier Prime Minister if India Manmohan Singh was widely trolled on Social Media, and there were no cases filed. And this FIR against Shirish on the petty issue like a Tweet is quite miserable and must be noticed.
