Delhi Man Beaten To Death Over A Fight On Being Served Golgappas First

A 24-year-old man was brutally beaten to death in northwest Delhi’s Bhalswa Dairy. The brawl had started over purchase of golgappas from a roadside stall. The victim, Irfan, was attacked by the two men at a nearby liquor shop where he had gone with a friend.

“While Irfan was waiting near the golgappa stall, the two accused came there and asked to be served first. An argument ensued and the two men attacked Irfan”. The incident was captured by a CCTV camera near the liquor shop.

Police had found Irfan lying unconscious at Kachchi Gali, near Singhaniya Glass godown in Bhalswa on August 4. He was rushed to a hospital where he was declared brought dead.

The CCTV footage showed the accused, Sunil Kumar and Lucky, fighting with Irfan. They beat him up till he collapsed on the road.

On scanning the CCTV footage of the area, police arrested Sunil Kumar from his home in Bhalswa area. On his information, the other accused, Lucky, was arrested from Jahangirpuri area.
