Shah Rukh Khan Reaction On The Death Of His Fan Who Came To See Him In “RAEES” Promotion

The whole nation is crazily waiting for the release of Raees. In order to attract more attention and to boost the promotions of the movie, SRK decided to go to various places himself and promote “Raees”. The actor decided to complete his promotional journey in August Kranti Express from Mumbai to Delhi.

But his promotional tour proved to be fatal for one of his fans. Unfortunately, on Monday night, a man, identified as Farid Khan Sherani, died of cardiac arrest when he went to catch a glimpse of Shah Rukh Khan at the Vadodara railway station. He was in his early 50s and was present there with his wife and daughter.

After the train left, everyone rushed towards the exit, thereby causing a heavy rush there. This is exactly why Faridd Khan died; he became breathless amidst this crowd and fainted. As soon as he was taken to the hospital for treatment, doctors declared him as dead.

Social activist Farid Khan Sherani of Hatikhana area of Vadodara, who arrived at the railway platform with his wife and daughter as the family was an avid follower of the actor, fell unconscious after suffering a cardiac arrest at the railway platform. He was rushed to the hospital where he was declared dead on arrival, his family members confirmed.

The train was scheduled for a ten-minute stop at Vadodara station, PTI reported. “The crowd went berserk when the train halted and began banging its window panes and even falling on top of each other. Police had to resort to mild baton-charge to control the crowd,” an official at the railway police control room said.

According to a report, Sherani was a well-known man in Vadodara and also served as a municipal councilor in the city. He was also affiliated with the Samajwadi Party, on whose ticket he contested local elections in 2005.

Shah Rukh Khan Condolences To The Family:

After SRK came to know that a crazy fan of his died while trying to have a glimpse of him, he felt very bad. He said “It’s unfortunate, my prayers are with the family of the deceased (died during commotion).”

“One of our colleagues was traveling with us. Her uncle came down to see her at Vadodara. He suffered a cardiac arrest. It was really unfortunate. We started the journey thinking we all will travel, spend time with each other when one of your own loses someone one on a trip like this, it saddens us all. On behalf of everyone, our prayers and blessings are with the whole family. She has reached there. I just spoke to her. I think the burial is in an hour or half hour. We have some of our people with the family members there. Hopefully, God will bless her soon,” Shah Rukh told.

Talking about his train ride earlier, the actor said he wanted to cover the maximum cities in the least time and that is why he had chosen train travel. He also said that he was traveling on a train after a long time.
