Sushant Singh Rajput had become a recognizable face of Bollywood after few films but his latest blockbuster hit M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story brought him overnight success. The super duper hit brings him all the starry feels. MS Dhoni biopic crossed Rs. 200 Crores in collections worldwide.

The MS Dhoni biopic has garnered Sushant a lot of praise and momentum. It’s not an easy thing to be down-to-earth in spite of being one big star. But from what it looks like, success has gone to the heads of Sushant. A report says that Sushant has hiked his fees for his upcoming films.

Sushant Doubles His Fees After Dhoni Biopic:

Sushant Singh Rajput garnered a lot of praise and momentum from the film. He has hiked fees for the upcoming films. In fact, he has doubled the price. He now demands Rs. 3.5 to Rs. 4 crores for a film.

A CEO of a production house says:

“That is the standard practice of any star. If you deliver a 200-crore sizzler, you demand a higher price. But the problem here is Sushant thinks the film has become a hit because of him, not for MS Dhoni.”

Recently, while talking to a leading daily, SSR talked about the positive response, he got for MS Dhoni and here’s what he told: “I have been getting positive feedback for my work since my first release, Kai Po Che (2013). Before the release, Neeraj (Pandey; director) and MS (Mahender Singh Dhoni) appreciated my performance. Since both of them don’t mince words.”

“I was confident that I have done a good job in the movie. The question was; how much the masses will connect with the film. But, thankfully the response to the film has been overwhelming. The credit for which also goes to MS’s popularity, and the content.”

Even the reporters are unhappy with Sushant’s behavior. According to the sources, reporters didn’t like the way, Sushant was interacting with them in a recently, Sushant attended the Filmfare Glamour & Style Awards and the actor was rather seen in an arrogant mood.

During the Filmfare awards, Sushant was asked about what he feels for the response he is getting for his film. He said: “I had expected good responses from everywhere and I am feeling good since everyone is praising me”.
