This Mizoram MLA Performed Performed An Emergency Medical Surgery To Save A Woman As The Surgeon Is Absent

These are the days when we hate politicians for their fake promises and an atmost zero service. Imagine someone’s health is in bad condition and needs an urgent medical assistance, what happens? Only person that can save him/her is a surgeon and how miserable the situation will be if there is no concerned surgeon?

Yes! here is a politician who instantly turned back to his former profession wearing the surgery mask. MLA Dr K Beichhua, from North-Eastern state Mizoram performed an abdominal surgery to a 35-Year-Old woman whose health was worsened and there is no concerned surgeon at the moment.

The woman’s stomach had a large perforation and if the operation had not been performed, she may have died,” said Beichhua, who is also a qualified surgeon. However, according to the sources, the woman is now sound in health and even laughing.

Before entering politics, this MLA was a doctor. He was graduated with an MBBS from Imphal’s Regional Medical College in 1991. Before he joined the Mizo National Front Party in 2013, Dr Beichhua had practised medicine for nearly 20 years.

The concerned hospital, where Beichhua has perfromed this surgery has only seven doctors and one surgeon after noticing the scarcity in doctors, the MLA further raised the issue of the shortage of doctors with a district development and coordination committee and stated that the problem will be resolved soon.
