It wasn’t the third leg… it was a vase all along! Her ‘right leg’ is actually an urn. That “third leg” is, in fact, a pot. Have a look.

If you closely inspect the picture, it becomes apparent that the girl is holding a brown vase its shape and coloring making it deviously tricky to distinguish from her legs.
